Snakes and birds found in Bishkek's apartment transferred to rehabilitation center

Bishkek, Feb.14, 2018 / Kabar /. Snakes and birds found in the apartment of a resident at the Pervomaisky district in Bishkek transferred to a rehabilitation center, the press service of the State Ecological Technical Checking (SETC) of Kyrgyzstan reported.

During checking, the inspectors of the SETC found out that this citizen was keeping 4 snakes, 2 birds of prey and one hedgehog without permits.

"The inspectors of the SETC drew up act and protocols and the animals were handed to the rehabilitation center. Animals will be looked after by specialists. All collected materials in relation to the violator will be transferred to the court," the report said.

In accordance with the law it is prohibited to breed wild animals at home. In case of revealing the facts of breeding of wild animals in domestic private houses, it is absolutely necessary to inform the State Ecological Technical Checking (SETC).
