Bishkek, Feb.8, 2018 / Kabar /. First of all and foremost businessmen, who are working honestly and paying taxes to the state budget, suffer from corruption in law enforcement and supervisory agencies, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said today at a meeting of the Security Council.
The Head of State stressed that honest, well behaved businessmen are the first to be subjected to illegal inspections, because of it the enterpreneurs suffer heavy losses, become bankrupt and are forced to close their businesses.
"It is a common practice that law enforcement agencies are closely involved in dark schemes and economic crimes. For example, under different allegations, criminal cases are initiated against businessmen. Investigation of such cases, as a rule, is delayed for a long time and after a while many of these cases are closed and not reaching the court," the President said.
He stressed that one of the main tasks of the state is to support honest entrepreneurs and establish fair competition in the business sphere.
"Honest business feeds the people, and those who work “undercover” feed the corrupt officials," Jeenbekov said.
