Bishkek, Feb.15, 2018 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov accepted Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan, Indira Djoldubaeva. The measures and tasks to counteract corruption, which were put before the Prosecutor's Office at the Security Council meeting held on Feb.8, 2018 were discussed at the meeting.
The President instructed the Prosecutor General to take measures on eradicating the facts of conducting unreasonable inspections, both on behalf of the prosecution authorities themselves and on the part of law enforcement agencies and other state authorities of the country.
"We do not give an opportunity to fully realize for businesses and state authorities' work by endless checks, thus we impede the development of the country's economy. This is beginning to turn into a business based on the suffering and problems of ordinary citizens," Jeenbekov said.
In addition, insufficient work of law enforcement bodies and other agencies in preventing corruption at the state authorities was also emphasized.
The issue of unlawful suspension and termination of investigations in criminal cases incited against official crimes, including corruption and crimes of stealing state and municipal property was also discussed.
The President instructed to conduct check out of all criminal cases in this direction and give a legal assessment to the activities of the relevant officials.
